Intelligent Software

Systems that decide, not just compute.

Most organisations do not need another dashboard. They need the decision the dashboard was supposed to support, made reliably, at the point where the work actually happens. That is what we build.

The problem

Pilots are easy. Production is the hard part.

A model that performs well on a curated sample is a demonstration, not a system. The difficulty is everything around it: where the data comes from, what happens when it is wrong, who is accountable for the output, how the thing behaves at three in the morning when the upstream API returns nonsense.

We start from that side. The model is one component among several, and usually not the one that decides whether the project succeeds.

A working definition. We consider software delivered when someone other than us can deploy it, observe it, and correct it. Anything short of that is still a prototype, whatever it is called in the invoice.

Scope

What the work usually includes.

Not every engagement covers all of it. Every engagement states which parts it covers.

  • Retrieval and reasoning pipelinesDocument and data retrieval, grounding, and multi-step reasoning with traceable intermediate results.
  • Decision supportRanking, classification and recommendation where a human stays in the loop and can see why.
  • Process automationEnd-to-end handling of repetitive work, with explicit escalation paths for the cases it should not handle.
  • IntegrationConnecting to the ERP, CRM, ticketing or line-of-business systems already in place, rather than beside them.
  • Evaluation harnessA repeatable way to measure whether a change made the system better, kept as part of the codebase.
  • Operational readinessLogging, cost controls, rate limits, fallbacks and a documented failure behaviour for each dependency.

Sequence

From question to running system.

Frame the decision

Which decision improves, who makes it today, and what a better outcome would measurably look like.

Build the evaluation first

Before the system exists, the yardstick does. Otherwise every later change is an opinion.

Increment into production

Narrow slice, real users, real data, real monitoring — then widen. Nothing waits for a big launch.

Hand over

Source, infrastructure as code, runbook and an onboarding session for whoever inherits it.

Deliverables

What is on the table at the end.

Running system

Deployed in your environment, under your accounts, with your data staying where you put it.

Source and infrastructure

Full repository access, infrastructure definitions and deployment pipeline. No hidden components.

Evaluation results

The measurements behind the claims, reproducible on your side with the harness we leave behind.

Have a decision worth automating?

Describe the process and the data behind it. We will tell you whether this is a software problem, a data problem, or neither — before there is a proposal to sign.
